Hello, my name is Kleg Kennedy. I grew up in Lampasas, Texas, on a small farm where my family and I raised and showed pigs. I lived my entire childhood in Lampasas and was involved with FFA, 4H, Athletics, and other school organizations. After high school, I attended Texas Tech University where I studied animal science and then was accepted to Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine where I focused on mixed animal medicine. Upon receiving my DVM from Texas A &M, I moved to Haskell, Texas, where I have practiced rural mixed animal medicine for the past two and a half years. I worked on a variety of animals including small and large animal species. Naturally, I had a large interest in swine and beef cattle but enjoyed working with other species as well. I am excited for this opportunity to come back to the area I grew up in and contribute to the communities that raised me. I look forward to working with everyone at the clinic and hope to both educate pet owners and improve animal health.
